I picked up some Prestone coolant a few days ago. There was no Prestone 5 year coolant on the shelves. There was 10 year and 15 year plus some Prestone Dexcool that is rated for 5 years but GM suggest 6 years in their owners manuals. I happened to have a sealed jug that still says 5 years but will add a jug of 10 year all makes for my next coolant replacement. Here’s a few pics.

Prestone Max must be a new variety. Prestone Platinum was also a 15-year coolant, but only rated for 350 k miles.

16.66 for concentrate at Walmart
That is for Platinum. I haven't seen Max anywhere yet. Did a search and found Prestone Max at Autozone, but the label only rates it at 350k MI. You have to wonder how much of this is just marketing hype. Prestone Max brake fluid is a DOT 3 that is rated for higher temperature than their regular Dot 3, I flushed my truck brake lines with it last year.

Hold on. My photo of MAX says 560,000 but that’s km, which is 350,000 miles. The shot was at a Canadian Tire store. :D
