Need a flush

I have got a neglected Ford 93 E350.

It has just started to run a little hot. I looked in the radiator and it looks like a dirty aquarium. Lots of stuff with one end 'growing' off the radiator and the other end swaying around like seaweed. There is no oil in the fluid. Also the fluid is pretty clear - like water with a little bit radiator fluid.

What should I do. This isn't a vehicle I plan on keeping much longer.

I'd just run a couple of Prestone radiator flush treatments through it.

I'd just do a distilled water flush and then put in fresh coolant. Then drain and fill with fresh coolant next year.

A chemical flush might work better, but I wouldn't want to risk a leak or clog from years of neglect.
