As some of you reading this may know I'm a newbie here and have only started one thread prior to this one. Just thought I'd share a pic of our daily and my Summer hooptie. 2011 Sienna LE which has been a fantastic van for us, and my '78 Nova base 5.7 Vortec/Turbo 350 trans/8.5" rear. The 4th gens are considered "bastard child" of the Novas, but I love her, but I love anything that's old and cool.

My dad had a 77 or 78 Nova he used as a bracket car in the early 90s. Ran low 12s to high 11s and was pretty successful with it.

I'd love to jump in one as a race car today.

Also known as the "Disco Nova".

I had a '79 for a few years..... Six-cylinder, four-doors, vinyl seats, no AC. Those seats didn't breathe at all and I'd get out of the car on a hot day soaked in sweat.

PF52, yes, I was in my late teens/early 20s, so I have many memories from that era. RE: the seats, definitely not my idea of fun, lol! Mine has cloth covered buckets.
