MOPAR oil filters. . . who makes them?

I haven't bought a MOPAR filter in a few years and have been running mostly FRAM in my RAM trucks. I just bought a 1500 Big Horn with the 3.0L twin turbo which specs the MOPAR 68466307AB. Fram references their XG10575 (I prefer the Ultras), which has very good specs. Who makes the OEM filter these days? MOPAR doesn't post specs for their filter, but the owner's manual references USCAR-36. Any comments on the OEM filter? Thanks! --Rob

I’m not sure one manufacturer makes all PNs, or who that/those manufacturer/s might be. I run MO-339s occasionally, and the louvers don’t look like Wix 57060, or Champ PH48XL. Mopar shouldn’t be so silent about their filters, especially since the owner’s manual suggests that only their filters should be used.

Mann + Hummel make the Hyundai / Kia filters (Korean-made) that I use on my wifes Santa Fe--those are built very well, although they don't publish the specs for those either. I'll have to pick up one of the MOPAR filters (maybe two, and cut one) and check it out. Thanks for the replies!

OEM Dodge Jeep Wagoneer filters E CORE. Other factory MOPAR filters are Purolator made. Unsure of aftermarket MOPAR filters found at Wal Mart or parts stores.

FWIW, Rockauto part number search gives me this.
