There is an issue of price reliability here. Let's say you are looking for a Dexos 0W20 five quart container, and you want to focus on a few brands. Kirkland will always, always, sell you five quarts for about $20. Quaker State is always on deck for between $21-23. Sometimes you might be fortunate to hit a sale, and beat these prices. Now, looking at this Mobil product, Castrol GTX, Pennzoil, you can't say where you are going to be on any given day within a $22-$32 window. That's the reason I would not buy this Mobil product with any regularity. Just to be clear, I am making my decisions based on whatever Amazon and to a lesser extent Walmart are saying. On Kirkland, I only buy the stuff on those excellent (two) times a year where it drops to $15 and pennies for five quarts, in their two-jug package. Not that you are asking, but I am doing well buying Ecogard filters on Amazon at $2.75 a piece. Nobody is really competing!
