Ask yourself what the cost of ownership will be. I bought a $1200 car for $300 when a $20 repair got it on the road. Over the years I got at least 4 times worth out of it. It was a car that inexpensive parts would keep it going and unk yard plentiful.

Smooth ride though.

The one that the K-frame fell out of also had a host of electrical problems that would cause the car to randomly quit. Most had to do with a bad ground point, which is just behind the alternator I believe. Once that was fixed the car was a lot more reliable.

Parts for LeSabres are cheap. And they're cheap to insure because nobody wants to be seen in a grandparent-mobile.

I'm 23 and am driving a LeSabre. Not my first choice mind you. Glad I ended up with it, however.

Hey, I've driven Buicks since I was a teenager. I own four currently. Good cars, just watch the Intake Gaskets.
