That once white filter wafer I call it was stuck to the bottom. When new it just pops out. If you search this filter you will see a Virgin cp. And I note what this secondary filter disc is made of.

I remember 1 guy did the whole 30k miles on Mobil 1 and 3 of these filters in his new Mazda skyactive. The oil was still serviceable and wear numbers were normal as far as a typical uoa could tell.

After almost two years, 30,000 miles, three MG filters, and 1.5 quarts of Mazda w/moly makeup oil, here it is. The original fill was M1 0W-20 AFE. Not stellar, but not terrible, either. The vehicle is a 2012 Mazda 3 w/Skyactiv engine (GDI). Perhaps, I'll just go 20,000 miles and leave it at...

As you have seen in the link I can't believe how well the paint held up sitting in an oil pan for 4 years. Some Frams come rusted right out of the box these days.

Yeah I've never seen one like it with these. It didn't tear but me no like... of course I took it past 10k suggested limit
