Interesting development on my Honda. For the last week or so, when I make a right turn at normal (or higher) speed, I get a "screechy" noise out of the front end on the driver side. It sounds like a flexible piece of metal scraping against the wheel or hub or something. I don't see anything obvious.

Any ideas?

I would just take it to the dealer and let them figure it out, that's what the warranty is for

If it sounds like a brake squealer in a turn to the side opposite where the noise is coming from it could be a dust shield contacting the brake rotor just as easily as it could be a brake squealer going off. Carelessness or corroded metal can easily bend a dust shield when removing or fitting up a wheel. Of course excessive play in a wheel bearing can allow the brake rotor to move and rub another part causing this sort of noise. One way or another, you need to find the source of this noise (or if under warranty let the dealership do it) as it could be a safety issue.

I guess that would be a very plausible explanation as I just got new tires. Not under warranty anymore so will need to see what is going on. Thanks.

Yes, this happened to our Accord a few years ago. I assumed the worst - like some kind of failure of a cv-joint but it ended up being the dust shield on the rotor.
