Looks good at 8k mi, and this application uses Champ thread end bypass. Imo, M1 is a quality filter and made in the US. Only downside I can think of is price point, using WM pricing generally higher than the Ultra.

I have used the MC FL910S for hundreds of thousands of miles and all have performed very well. Besides, the oil you use is far more important than the filter you use.

With Mobil 1 Oil rebates they have been offering a $5 rebate for the Mobil 1 oil filter if bought at the same time. This brings the price of the oil filter to just under $5 buying them at Walmart. I've been using the 102A filter for our 2.3 EcoBoost Explorer.
