That's one reason(clean engines with 10K OCIs) I switched to synthetic oil in 1978.

If that's the case, then why are there pics of the engines from two of my vehicles shown there? I mean, I don't live in Russia.

It was inconsistent. I did one 15K interval with a filter change and top up at 7500 miles, and I did a few 7-8K OCIs, but most were in the 6000-6500 mile range.

Decided to check on comrades forum. Here some new pics.
Fiat 1.4 L 8v engine.
60k km
Oil Castrol Magnatec
Oci 10-12k km

Dude got this car 6 month ago. Prob from Japan.
120k km right now. He says, by records it always had Mobil 1 5w-30 or 40 for 8k km OCIs
It is Toyota Avensis. 3S-FE 2001

Same engine as above from Fiat Albea, 1.4L 8v.
Current 70k km.
Previous Owner used unknown Shell oil, engine has pitch black inside.
Current owner has it for 22k km. Ran Neste City Pro 5W-40, 7k km OCIs.
