Links from Google are half page?!

Its weird if I come here from a link on a Google search, all the threads/pages are ~1/2 width of my browser window.
But when I open a new page and come here from my BITOG bookmark the pages are full width as they should be.
Any ideas why?

It's not just links from Google either. It happens directly within BITOG as well.

Example:

Then click on "1" to go to the first page of that thread - it'll show it in half width.
