I searched the forums but didn't find a thread with this subject. What is the differences beteween these products? They seem like they are setup to do the same job. You can get the LC20 for 33.00 a gallon. My father and I currently use the Auto RX on a maintance dose (2001 M Roadster 2006 Mustang GT). I have learned a lot about oil, additives, and the true about oils. Sorry if this a repost, just wanted to get some advice. Thanks

Both great products!

I use Auto RX more as a specialized cleaner and problem solver. Mostly the Auto RX 'clean and rinse' for engines.

I use LC-20 and FP-Plus as part of my regular maintenance program.

There's much more to all the good things you can do with both products.

Once you know how to use both products , you may find that you can do many things them to keep your vehicles running well.

LC 20 & Auto-Rx do not compete with each other as each chemistry is formulated for differen't type applications.

Auto-Rx is a metal cleaner LC is an oil additive. Auto-Rx does not change oil chemistry. LC does change oil chemistry. Do not mix these two chemistrys. Look in archives for Dyson Oil Analysis explanation of Auto-Rx and LC 20.

Auto-Rx is a product to clean the internals of a motor, trans, diffs and power steering units safely as you drive.
LC20 is a supplement to oil mainly acting as an antioxidant.
If deep cleansing of the working guts is your desire Auto-Rx is the way to go. I have only limited experience with LC20.

No worries but man, if you go back to the early days of this forum there are about 300 threads titled arx vs lc20.

Yeah, we have talked this one to death.

While both vendors will tell you they can do both tasks to varying degrees, the long and short of it is that ARX will get it clean, and LC-20 will keep it clean. Both are worth using.
