Just how much larger do you want to go?
How about the massive 51773; a two quart version of the 51515!
I mean, seriously, if size is no object, why not put on the largest filter you can phsically get in there? If the 51773 will not fit, then perhaps the 51515 will fit. They all have 3/4-16 threads and the correct gasket size, with appropriate ratings.
Of course, there is no proof that you'll actually have a better-protected engine, and you won't have any warranty coverage, even from the filter maker, for venturing off the reservation. But why not try it out?!?!?
I'm just kidding; use a stock filter and be done with it! There is no tangible proof from UOA evidence that upsizing your filter will make any statistically significant advance in engine protection in the real world. Your engine is already likely able to outlast your desire or ability to own it; why bother?
BTW - only 4 posts since 2007? I believe you have the record for BITOG restraint!
