I have a Kohler 19 Courage engine and I have the valve cover leak. I am going to use the updated part
Genuine Kohler 20 096 14-S Kit Valve Cover to fix this. I believe the spec is 6 inch/lbs. I checked the bolts which back out and 2 moved but just barely. I am afraid to apply to much force as they are only 10mm bolts what is the correct torque spec. I saw someone said to back them out individually and apply blue loctite which doesnt seem like a bad idea. Unit is about 14 years old and runs great I would hate to lose the motor.
