Our dogs appeared to have contracted this virus but a healthy round of vet prescribed medication stopped it from getting worse. They were coughing and wheezing. Thankfully they didn't get pneumonia.
Keep your dogs at home to avoid contact with any other dogs.

I personally subscribe to this idea when I have random dogs sniffing me at Lowe’s or other stores that make no sense to have pets walking about . My favorite line “he is friendly” my body language thankfully says it all.
Same thing would happen to us at the border, when we came back to the USA from Canada. The agents would not say anything about whether they were friendly or not.

I avoid people's little kids. Especially if they're sniffling or coughing up a lung.

I wonder when this is going to show up here:

Dogs on the other hand, if they're leashed I'll ask if I can say hello and give them ear rubs. But yes, keep your puppies safe.
