No comments yet on the fact that the oil in the engines does not get changed ? Ever. They do refer to topping it off and that alone keeps the oil "fresh" enough.

Incredible that the airliner rarely has the oil drained and changed and is more often just topped up.

If you have lived your life so far without the need for Krytox series lubricants, then you do not need them. The Krytox series of lubricants have very narrow and specific applications they are made for, hence the cost. The actual market for and quantity needed for them is small comparatively speaking.
