When moving, I found an oil filter in my basement that must have been sitting there for ages.
It's a Purolator Premium Plus L17357. Date Code is H02Q05A1.
I have already used the forum search and found "the Rosetta Stone", i.e. a date code table, but this does not seem to fit my filter. The date code on the filter conforms to the format, but acccording to the table, "Q" was not used, while the date code on my filter clearly shows this letter...
Different date codes for different plants perhaps?

Is there any other numbers on the can that look similar to that date code - like on top of the can? Not sure if Purolator used letter "Q" because it looks similar to zero. Maybe they did back then, and if so then it's around 2004-2005 time frame.

No, nothing.
