How much of wide tire have u fitted in skinny rim?

Personally I hate the "stretched" look from VW enthusiasts.. even though I like the cars.

Working with tires every other day sometimes I gotta fit some crazy stuff (sometimes we just do it for fun), we prefer wider tires in skinnier wheels. For example 235/45-17 in my friend's 17x6" wheels for an SRT4. Or in my Spec-V I have 235/40-17 in 17x7"... not so difficult but it's a whole inch narrower than recommended.
In my dad's car we are running 205/60-13 in 13x5", and I have seen as crazy as 255/40-17 in a 17x7"... useless but IMO still better than stretch.
Oh and in my old sentra... the spare was a 14x4 wheel with a 115/70-14 tire.. I squeezed in a 185/65-14 in that wheel.

Show me how wide of a tire have u been able to fit in a skinny wheel.

I have on the front 225/45-17 in 17x7" and on the rear 255/40-17 in a 17x8.5" of my Honda S2000, it is 10 mm wider than spec'd.

Widest I've gone, relative to the width of the rim, was 225/50/16 on a 16" x 7" rim. Those tires had squishy sidewalls, too. That was fun (just kidding).

I've fit 33x12.5R15 BFG Mud Terrains on stock Jeep 15x7 steelies.

I also have 38x15.5" tires on 15x10's (not really squished though)

My brother has 295/50 - 15's squeezed onto 15x7" stock steelies on his '74 Olds Omega.
I also had a set of 28x10" MT slicks mounted on 15x7 steelies on my Malibu.
