2012 Honda Accord EX-L (225/50 r17) best mid priced tire (140-165). 65K plus, best quiet smooth ride. Live in Louisiana, so winter rating unimportant. I'm looking at Falken Sinera SN250 a/s 75K tire.

There's also the Cooper Evolution Sport for under $100 each

Also, the best, smoothest quiet ride will come from getting 16" wheels from the base model that has 215/60-16 tires.

I had a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serentiy Plus on my Accord at one point. I liked them a whole lot. Very stable, quiet tire... good wet traction and good road manners.

Michelin Defender 2 is $195/tire. Catch a sale and it will be very close to your price range.

I had a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serentiy Plus on my......Volvo V70
The tires came with an "80,000 mile rating". I drive sedately and always get great life from my rubber.
Those Turanzas were worn to the bone at 51K. Even and straight.
It'd take a lot for me to patronize Bridgestone again.
