A02 shown made by Fram, classic Fram construction and date code format. Looks fine at 3600 miles, as one would expect at that fci. Similar in construction to an orange can or TG, but ISO tested as significantly less efficient than either one.
As an aside, the much less common Honda -003 OEM is made by Mahle Tennex in Japan. Fyi, Amazon using the wrong pic for the 003 filter.

I may or may not know someone that works for Honda, maybe at the assembly plant in Marysville or maybe at the engine plant in Anna, who looked up the supplier in the ERP system.
Here's is a thread showing the aforementioned Mahle Tennex made 003, not topic Fram made A02. Differences quite obvious. And Honeywell sold Fram in 2011.
Honda filters are one size fits all. Only the S2000 uses different filter.
I recently bough Honda filters. Thank GOD they were made in Japan!!!
If I paid top dollar for Fram Blue Can of Death I would be pissed.

As noted, Honeywell hasn't owned Fram since 2011. A02 currently made by Fram, division First Brands. That despite what some A02 websites selling it may still say. It would seem 13 years enough time to update their sites.
You're saying they cause engine failures? I ask because I have used them on my Honda.
They are great filters, I have used several over the years on my family's Hondas, and each one I cut open looked perfect even after 12k miles (2 OCIs).
