HF small flasher

For those who bought one of these (pictured) near the checkout, peel the back label off, remove the 2 screws and replace the 3 AAA cells which are going to leak.

Now what you replace them with is a topic for another post. For me Duracell bought in giant pack from BJs.

Both of the ones I have had batteries leaking. Don't wait for the flasher to stop working before battery replacement. The batteries are not very long lasting either.
 
about half of the unused cells that come from these and the blue ones are already getting pimples.
i dont even save them when i do the above li-ion conversion.
not worth the risk of damaging a remote or other device that cheap carbon zinc are normally fine in.
