Between the multi vehicle and the gas truck oil , going by the voas listing the additives, which oil would be better at protecting against lspi? Does multi vehicle carry Dexos D1G2 ?

I'll defer on LSPI to someone more knowledgeable, but no the Multi-vehicle doesn't carry any Dexos specs. It's also currently out of stock on Walmart's website: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Shell-ROTELLA-T6-5w30-Multi-Vehicle-Full-Synthetic-1-Gallon/515810764

I've never personally been able to locate Multi-Vehicle for sale in the States. I stick to commercially-available oils that I can either pick up or order on a whim for delivery inside of two days.

A distributor would definitely be able to help you. We do have to remember though, despite the name and the marketing, it still is a fleet oil, most useful to mixed fleets and certain builder approvals and/or applications needing E6. NAPA down south might be worth a check; ours have it listed.

Of course, I tend to purchase from a distributor, so have used fleet oils for an extended period.

There are many 3.1 ones out there. Typically 3.0, & few 2.9 ones.

Valvoline AFS 5W30 is also HTHS=3.2 per their website.
I'm thinking that MAG 1 and ST synth 5W30 are both at 3.15??

Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 is also a 3.15 HTHS.

Wait, G6 is coming. That might put the kibosh on Rotella Gas & Truck then. I don't want a large inventory when G6 arrives.
