Hastings LF134 C&P

Vehicle: 2003 Ford Taurus 3.0 Vulcan. This car.
Mobil Super 10W-30.
Hastings LF134= Fram 3600/ Motorcraft 400s. Purchased off of RockAuto.com.
Had only 2,100 miles on this OCI. Only reason I changed it out was because I got a free bottle of Valvoline Synthetic HM 10w-30 that was leaking and it needed to go. Changed it with a Purolator tech filter that I got from an eBay special a couple months back. This OC cost me exactly $2.14.

Hastings has these (LF) oil filters and cheaper CF oil filters (on RA).....I would imagine this LF has a better filter media?...Does anybody know the performance specs, media type etc...? The filter cut open here looks pretty good.

I would have left the filter on, that could go for a whole lot longer.

I would suggest emailing them and asking. Apparently, they are fairly forthcoming with data.
