Im looking at one of these for my diesel dodge and i wonder if toilet paper will just fall apart and end up in the engine.

Oil makes paper stronger. If you pour oil on toilet paper and pull it it won't tear where the oil is. If you have ever bought an old car that looks like the full flow filter hasn't been changed in a long time chances are if you cut it open you will see that it is rotten and brittle. Sometimes part of it will be missing. If a paper filter is neglected long enough chances are it will get rotten. If you remove a roll of toilet paper and it is strong and unrolls and tears at each sheet you are ok. If you try to unroll it and it falls apart it has been neglected for too long. The toilet paper is absorbing the water and acid.
