2,750 Km ( 1700 mi ) 5W20 Valvoline R&P, topped off the oil that was lost, looks good to me for a $4 cdn oil filter, starting to really like carboard end caps.

That’s the previous version, now it’s like an ecore with major problems. It was changed fairly recently.
Mine was made about March 2025, date code on top not on side is Champ Labs. Unusable as designed because the adbv didn’t cover all the base holes.I think they flip back and forth on components because I have seen the ecore's come through some months..... then the next few months will be the metal core then later some ecore's will come back on the shelf etc...

Another OCOD 3614 and a few mL of VRP, thanks for the compliment, I do try.Better photos than I take! What went on and in? Thank Youbsir![]()
Orange cans of Delite are repainted for some OEM filters. Honda and Subaru use this style, it works, and it's cheaper to makeIs that the OCOD? Orange Can Of Death. It resembles the blue colored Subaru OEM oil filter that I used to use. The blue Subaru oil filters are supposedly made by Fram.

Yeah, it is totally different baseplate than the Champ made Fram, easy to identify. Is that the one with all the holes in the baseplate?
