Fram's catalog is giving me multiple results. When I input my vehicle (2014 Silverado 5.3) the application lists XG10060. However if I cross reference the AC Delco PF63 for my vehicle, the Fram catalog lists the XG10575. Both the 10060 and the 10575 both list my vehicle as an approved application when you go to their respective pages. Looks like the 10575 is longer with a different bypass valve setting, but other than that ??

Which one is it?

The 2014 Silverado with the 5.3L Ecotec engine and the 6.0L Vortec engine uses the XG/TG/HM/PH10060. The 6.0L is only in the 2500 and 3500 series trucks IIRC. The 2014 Sivlerado HD trucks were still in the GMT900 body style.

The 10575 fits the 4.3L and 6.2L engines.

This is the main reason I haven't used a Fram on my current truck. The catalog lists the 10060 as the correct filter for the '14 5.3 Silverado, but lists the 10575 for the '15 model. As stated, the cross-reference has the 10060 matching up with the AC pf48 and the 10575 with the AC pf63.

I know the previous generation of trucks with the 5.3 used the pf48/10060 filter. I am thinking someone at Fram missed this one and in fact listed the filter the same as on the previous years' trucks. The 10575 matches the physical size and is given as the cross-reference of the pf63 that is standard on the 14+ GM trucks.

If I were going to use the Fram filter I think I would use the 10575, but as long as I can find the AC PF63 in classic trim (no ecore) I'll just keep things simple and stick with oem.

Just stick with the Delco PF48 or UPF48, which is basically a rebadged Mobil 1 filter.

Interestingly, the PF48 crosses over to the Chrysler in my signature and it is running a PF48 right now.

However the catalog list 10575 as the correct filter for a 2015+ 5.3 Nothing has changed between 2014-2015 models.

I've abandoned AC Delcos because I cant find any locally that aren't E-cores.

Some previous threads on this issue:

This is not a Fram issue but a GM issue when they seem to be switching to the PF63??

From the first thread I link, first post:

Dear Mr. xxxxx:
Thank you for visiting the ACDelco website.
In regards to your inquiry about PF63 oil filters, the PF63 is replacing the PF48 therefore any application that calls for a PF48 will now use a PF63. Again thanks for using ACDelco.
If you have any other questions, please contact our experts at the ACDelco support center by dialing 1-800-ACDELCO (223-3526).

The 10575 is the correct Fram part number for a 2014 5.3 EcoTec. Fram messed up their online catalog as you have found. The new EcoTec 4.3, 5.3, and 6.2 all use same filter in the manual (ACDelco PF63). This numbers crosses over to the Fram 10575. I have been using the Fram Ultra XG10575 for a couple OCI's now. It's a good filter: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/3534670/Re:_Cut_open:_Used_Fram_Ultra_
