While there is some trurth to that years ago, but to a leased degree in the last ten years. China has some very high end robotic manufacturing plants for simple cheap junky stuff that you would freak out how advanced they are. They make a lot of money making the world’s “stuff”, they have spent trillions on updating manufacturing too.

Agreed. Don’t be fooled by shots of kids banging out stuff on the side of a gutter. There some absolutely high tech plants in China that will make you cringe.

Large companies like Fram would have their own factory and building in China. They control what goes on inside the building and the materials coming in for producton. It should be the same quality if their name means anything. , For me it's about the jobs in my own country, plus supporting a regime contrary to the country I live in.
