I retired this week. After 40 years of 12 hour shift work in the Petrochemical industry doing tons of Laboratory work, I have called it a career. I have served two companies, 20 years each, as a Laboratory Technician. It entailed tons and tons of wet chemistry, GC, LC and GCMS analysis. What a blessing it has been, but the time has come to begin the next chapter of my life.
To celebrate, I have a trip planned in October to Nashville, The Ark experience, Cincinnati, and along the way we will take a 4 hour guided off road tour in a new Ford Bronco. I saw the information at my local Ford dealer, while shopping for an Expedition to better transport our grandchildren. I am super excited to go wheelin' in the Great Smoky mountains. October should be beautiful!
