You can tell by the price.
But it seems to do just fine without esters.

Usually to find esters you'll need a HM formula.

The only esters you'll find are what has leeched into the oil from the plastic bottle

So if there are no esters in this oil, then what caused the leaks to slow?

The ST syn 10W30 contains seal conditioners and is a "high mile" formula.
FWIW, I tried the HM10W30 and it eliminated a seeping rear main.

Most likely it has a bit of di(2-ethylhexyl)-adipate ester or similar chemistry to cause slight seal swelling.

Swelling or more pliable? I thought the whole seal swelling thing with HM oils was a misnomer.

Was kind of "curious" how the ST hierarchy of products "ranked"
Since ya know, Mobil 1 has their "Truck & SUV", HM, regular (classic/plain M1 lol), and then the "EP", and the green cap 0weights....
But ST only has the "conventional", High Mileage, and "Fully Synthetic" - but that's good to know that their Synthetic fills that void and contains "HM" characteristics too.

Yes, it does. I just changed the oil in my Mother's Cobalt and it was on the bottle with a description of the "benefits" on the back.
