Shopping for some green grease and noticed the new labels indicate it as NLGI #1.5 with the statement “Meets or exceeds most OEM performance requirements for NLGI #2 grease”

Old labels clearly stated it as NLGI #2, did something change or have there always been two types available?

The Data Sheet they have on their website, apparently dated 2011/05/11 per the filename, lists it as NLGI 2 but the worked penetration of 285-315 is consistent with "1.5".

NLGI for some bizarre reason has gaps in it's scale, as far as I've been able to tell there's no official way of handling in between numbers, but it is common to see them listed as ".5"s.

I'm guessing that the Green Grease folks got called out on not actually being a #2 and just changed the branding to reflect that.
