Looking for a dash protectant / cleaner spray that does not leave a shine or coating that dust will not stick to. Will be for a Ford Fusion with a padded dash. Is there such a product?

Surf City Dash Away has been my favorite. Cleans and protects plus can be used on the headliner for spots, steering wheel, shifter, etc. Just about everything except for the glass/plastic surfaces. Nice clean, mild scent. Money back guarantee from the company. You can check their website or Amazon.

Ditto. As long as you "buff it out", it won't leave behind a sticky mess.

Have you considered covering the dash to prevent damage?

I've used "Dash Topper" for years (http://www.dashtopper.com). Their quality is the best I've seen and their price is great. The sell for about $60 and are finished very nicely.

Those look very nice and five different options for the type of material they use.

303 Protectant

Flight school I rented from used it on all of their aircraft...good results in a tough environment. That is when I started using it ~25+ years ago.

They will also send you free swatches of the color(s) you're most interested in.

Alternatively, many new car dealer parts department's sell the Dash Toppers (for more money, though) and they have the complete color swatch samples. If you're lucky, they may have a Dash Topper that they've ordered for a customer that they'll take out of the box and let you see how well they're finished!
