New Continental CrossContact LX25 tires for my Subaru

Good choice!

The Audi came with Continental tires, and when down to about 5/32, switched to another set of Continentals. As soon as reasonable possible, I will be putting a set of Contis on the Pilot we recently purchased.

I used to be Michelin-all-the-way, but not any more.

I've been very happy with the TerrainContact H/T on my truck. I had Michelin Defender LTX on it prior and they were either louder than I realized, or got loud as they aged.

High probability of our Jeep getting the TerrainContact's when it's due.

Always been a fan of Contis, especially the performance ones. Recently tried some new Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3s on the GLI over the Continental ExtremenContact DSW 06 Plus on previously, and like them a smidge better overall. We'll see what happens as they wear though.

The only issue I've ever had with a Continental/General product was some sidewall blistering on a set of OG ExtremeContact DWS. I've owned at least five other sets of their tires, and I've been nothing but happy with any of them. The TerrainContact HT would be my recommendation for anyone who needs a highway truck and SUV tire.

My First Q5 came on Continentals they were great. Second had Michelins and I wasn't impressed especially with all the hype how great Michelins are!

Just replaced tires on a Z3 with a staggered set of DWS06+ tires; same tires on the car previously. Have the same staggered set of tires on a 328Ci as well. Also use Conti's on a 13 Suzuki SX4. Exceptional tires.

Those are a really good choice for regular tires.
I went with dws06+ and there are both positives and negatives compared to the lx25.. but I am very satisfied with them.

If they came with the car.. blame the car manufacturer.. only aftermarket tires can you blame tire manufacturer

I imagine you will be pleased with the CrossContact tires. I have had a set also, and liked them.

I've always been one to buy whatever brand of tire I thought offered the best choice for a car, at the time. But for several sets of tires now, I seem to end up with Continental tires on my cars. Unlike other leading brands, I have never been disappointed with a set of Continental tires.

I replaced my tires on my 2021 Subaru crosstrek limited with Continental CrossContact LX25.I’m a first time Continental tire buyer. So far a nice quiet ride compared to the original Falken tires.
Great tires. I have had them on my 2020 CX5, and had them on Kia Sorento when it was traded in.

I liked them OK but they are noticeably heavier than continentals for passenger cars. I had a set on a Town & Country and then when I switched to Truecontacts, there was a noticeable improvement in acceleration and MPGs compared to the LX25. I think in my application the LX25 was about 5lbs heavier per tire.

Just put a set on the wife's Highlander and they are exceptional. I love Continental tires and have bought three sets in the last month. LX25's, Viking Contact 7s for winter and put a set of the Terrain Contact AT's on my sons Explorer. There is a $110 rebate going on for most of their tires.

Huh. Never seen a crosstrek with Falkens - always Yokohama Geolanders, Was it purchased used?
Good luck with the Conti's.. Wife is due for tires in two months. I didn't want to downgrade to Avids. The factory Geos are excellent as always.
