Chilton manual online

I often used to visit the chilton's manual site

www.autolibrary.org to look at the locations of various components for friend's cars.

I can't get there any longer. Anyone know why?

i can understand that completely. What I don't understand is that there is no option to pay for the service. I know alldata has a yearly subscription price of about 25 bucks.

They got pulled probably because Chilton thought they would lose money on it. Kind of like the RMAA losing money on Napster.

Right now I'm relying on Haynes and Helms which are more than adequate. But sometimes, Chilton's sheds some more light in my problems.
