Chevy Traverse Hearse

I had to pull over for a funeral procession today and noticed that one of our local funeral homes has acquired a Chevrolet Traverse hearse (or maybe it’s a Trav-hearse?). Overall it was pretty odd looking and appeared to be stretched behind the rear wheels.

Seems like a mediocre last ride IMO, but appears to be a readily available option. Interestingly, it seems that all hearses are built on SUV platforms these days (Cadillac XT5, Lincoln Nautilus, and even the Ford Explorer). I suppose that makes sense given the demise of the sedan.

It looks "saggy" behind the rear axle.

Times are changing. The hearse that carried my mother was a Chrysler Pacifica conversion. It looked fine to me.

The former you can go throughout life avoiding
The latter is gonna happen eventually, whether you like it or not

In my area, it's predominantly XTS/MKT conversions
