Castrol Edge HM

Saw Castrol Edge High Mileage at Walmart yesterday, picking up some stuff, which I hadn't seen before.

It had me kind of intrigued for my next OCI, but the bottles are different than standard Edge--which makes me wonder, is this a new oil, or is it being phased out?

Anyone running it? I assume it's good stuff--PDS looked great.

Edge HM is a fairly new offering from Castrol. I'm currently running the 10w-40 grade in my 530i.

However, mine came in bottles that are essentially the same as regular Edge in black bottles. No difference other than the label.

The 5qt bottles were really different than the standard Castrol bottles. I want to give it a go in 10w30 perhaps for my 4Runner, but didn't know if it was an old flavor being phased out or not.

Glad it is new!

Yes, one of the newer offerings in the HM arena. Before this, they only offered the green bottled GTX HM blend.

Yes, I saw Castrol's new HM Edge full synthetic at Walmart; it has me intrigued.
