I made a post yesterday wondering who made Carquest Red filters. Well today I picked up a case of napa PROSelects. And honestly they look similar but not quiet the same. I also have an old proselect which looks much different from the new proselect. Old proselect on the left new proselect in the middle and CQ on the right.

Left to right-purolator, wix, probably champ. Last one doesn’t look like or have the leak tested markings of a premium guard so I’d guess Champ.

Carquest are Purolator filters, ProSelect are the cheaper Wix made filters.
I think the napa proselect on the left is a purolator. I have a purolator one and the holes on the bottom look identical

Pics did not show up for me at first, but looks like I was wrong.
Seems a lot of changes going on in the market now, because what I said used to be true, but apparently not any more.

It’s hard to tell with Advance Auto Parts sourcing. They have recently stocked FRAM oil filters exclusive to their stores. The Carquest Red could be a Champ Labs filter or some S.Korean or Chinese product.

The Purolator-made Proselect doesn't even have the shrink wrap on it. Did it come in its own box? Typically, Wix (and, by extension, Napa) put the shrinkwrap on filters sold by the case, called "Master Pack" and in turn they don't have their own individual boxes. The boxed filters aren't wrapped.

Unfortunately, Wix uses a white date code on the white filter, so I can't see it! Can you type the date code on the middle filter?

Strange that the new Purolator Proselect uses a number-year date code and not their standard letter year format. 030819 so 03/08/2019

Wix's cheap name-brand line, called Pro-Tec, has been using Purolators lately.

Yellow code: 070119 D 3 06:57

White Code: 061919 D 2 19:19

This is off the shrink wrapped proselect. Hard to read.

The white box filters are around 4 each the shrink wrapped are 2.99 each in the mp case.

Maybe it is a made in China Champion Labs filter like most of them are.
