Someone posted AAP has this fluid on sale for $ 5 a quart . My local AAP does not have it in stock , but looks like I can order it and have it shipped free for over $ 35 purchase . I would be looking at Dexron 6 . Anyone know anything about this ATF ? Thanks , :-) Wyr God bless

Some Dexron VI is full synthetic and some is semi synthetic. Back when Carquest wasn't property of Advance Auto, their Dexron 6 was fully synthetic and made by Ashland. I wouldn't worry about anything if I was using that in a vehicle that needed Dexron 6.

Last time I bought Carquest branded lubes, they were from Ashland, maker of Valvoline. However, they may have changed.

Bo not wish to sound like a wise mouth , but you may have to reach outside AAP / Carquest . I first would check for sales at local brick & mortar stores . Then internet search , starting at Walmart . I think the last diff oil I purchased was Valvoline , at AAP .
