Bullitt: love that chase scene!

I'm watching the chase scene in "Bullitt" as I type this. Someone needs to film a modern version- with a current Hemi Charger & (when they come out) a Bullitt edition Mustang GT. Oops, that Charger just crashed & burned!

And once again, the fastest car was *Not* McQueen's Mustang GT or the black Charger- but that little green VW Bug!

Bullit was a 390 GT Ford Mustang. The Dodge Charger, I am told was a 440. I think it would be neat to see a remake with a Cobra Jet and a Hemi. Or, better yet, a Ford GT and a Viper...
