Howdy fellas,

This was on my riding mower. Husqvarna 22v46. With a B&S 22 horse, 250 hours on it. B&S 30 wt oil was used. The same went back on and in.

I do once a year OCI which is 40-50 hours. BUT we moved last year and in the hustle and bustle of that I forgot. So this one had 2 years and 80-100 hours on it.

Seemed to hold up perfectly well, the adbv was a little stiff. The end caps were on tight and the media wasn’t brittle.

Nice photos and Thank You for cut and post sir

Held up well for the longer interval & a lot of small engine riders specify changing it at 100 hours. Thanks for sharing! I need to get me a cutter!
That’s good to know. I always thought it was at 50. And this one is a great mower, I wish I would’ve went with the 54 inch version but this one has been great. Still on the original belt. Ive been doing spark plugs, air & fuel filters every 100 hours.

Looks good. Gotta love the marketing though... "designed to meet the higher temps of air cooled engines"....comes with a nitrile ADBV.

Nothing wrong with these filters, they just aren't significantly better over automotive filters for the premium they charge.

I have to agree there. Once I use the ones I have, I’ll probably look elsewhere.
