Brian Mulroney, former Canadian PM, dead at 84

Brian Mulroney, Canada’s 18th Prime Minister, has died at 84 years of age.
May be of interest to our mostly American audience bc of his negotiation of the Free Trade agreement between the two countries, which had big business impacts on both sides of the border.
Also, he scrapped the nationalizing of Canada’s oil industry by getting rid of the National Energy program started by Pierre Trudeau in the early 1980’s.

Brain Mulroney was the Prime Minister of Canada during 5 of Reagan's 8 years, so they knew each other quite well.

I must confess I know little of him. But from what I gather he was reasonably well liked.
