If your car has well over 100,000 miles you can get away with doing just a Clean and Rinse application, meaning you might not have to do a 2nd cleaning.

I would advise that you get a 2nd bottle of auto-rx to use as a Maintenance Dose after the initial clean and rinse. This will keep the gains you have gotten and will help with some additional cleaning.

A 12 ounce bottle of auto-rx will last 3 oil changes using 4 ounces for each oil change.

This application does not apply if you have:

1) Sludge
2) Oil Leaks
3) Oil Burning

I would advise that people use a cheap dino oil for the Clean and Rinse Phases, and when you go on the Maintenance Dose either use dino oil or a Group III synthetic since some cleaning will be going on after the Clean and Rinse Phases are over.

This is the only product that I know that will clean your engine without hurting your oil seals. This product does work if you follow the application instructions.

The Fleet Taxi Test proves that auto-rx works.

Even if you pull your valve cover off and your engine looks clean, you may still have some junk in your ring packs or other areas of your engine that you cannot see even with the valve covers off.

What happened to the sticky for ARX?

Although I love what ARX can do for your engine, I have realized even greater benefit from its use in the transmission. It has also worked well at stopping a steering rack leak in a G35 and is now doing its thing on a tranfer case input shaft seal leak for me.

I will always have ARX available in my garage.

I know I'm using it for as long as it is available. I've treated my engine, transmission, transfer case, differential and power steering. It's great stuff.

You would have too PM one of the moderators too fing out what happened to the link for auto-rx.

I still believe the best place to find answers to your questions about application instructions and any other questions is too visit auto-rx.com

Along the way of a high mileage car(over 100K miles) alot of range can exist. Driving tendancies, motor design, maintenance intervals all play a part in what the internals of a motor are like over 100K. Some vehicle achievew that number over 3 years, others it may be 10 years, the list goes on.

By the same token, the vehicle that achieved 100K in 2 to 3 years likely was run mostly on the highway, relatively easy driving on the motor. The vehicle that takes 10 years to get to 100K, likely saw a more severe drive mode. Such as short driving trips at low motor temeratures, etc.

In general I think for the average car a two cleaning application is prefered. That is assuming that ARX was never run in the first 100K. Obviously if a cleaning was done and followed by maintenance doses a high mileage car would not need two applications.

Obviously a car that sees a lot of highway driving will be in better shape than a car that sees a lot of short trip driving.

There are so many variables that can affect the condition of your engine.
