Auto-RX and GC

Hi ,

I want to run a auto-rx in my 2001 Saab 9-3. I am planning a run of GC this feb, Will Auto-rx work with GC (I know that RX states dino should be used) but I do not feel comfortable putting dino in(iam sure people will say its fine). But with my boost at 15.5psi I prefer to stick with synth.

Any issues ?

PS. I have Motul and Elf right now, would they be better to use over the GC ?

What is your application for cleaning ? if so synthetic will be fine however in the rinse mode a group111 oil would be a better choice and your turbo is not going to suffer.

Due to winter fast approaching up here, I am more comfortable running full synth. If it is safe to do so, which it sounds like it is, I am happy with that even if I dont get 100% results.

Why don't you use Rotella T-Syn, 5W-40; it is a GrIII

hrmm, didnt know rotella was a grp III, maybe ill give it a shot.

I'd just leave it alone with GC, but extend the phases to 5,000-7,500 miles.
