Hi! I'm from the Philippines can you guys please help me out? I'm searching the net and I found this cool site about lubricants.

I have a Mitsubishi Galant Super Saloon A/T. The car manual which I downloaded from the net specified to use Diamond atf SPII. I change atf every six months and want to go full synthetic this time. I'm now using redline High Temp atf with dextron III rating. Question is Am I safe using this redline atf? Will it not cause damage to my transmission? I dont have peace of mind as of this time.. Please help me..Thanks!

Mitsubishi Diamond ATF is a manufacture specific ATF and probably should be used. IIRC, it is very close to Mopar ATF-2 or ATF-3. Over the years, many shared (in the USA) Chrysler/Mitsubishi vehicles have required Mopar ATF-2 or 3 for the Chrysler vehicle and Mitsubishi Diamond for the Mistubishi vehicle. For example: The Mitsubishi Eclips, Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser were all the same vehicle, engines and transmissions. The Eagle and the Plymouth requierd ATF-2 or 3 ATF and the Eclips required Diamond ATF. Mitsubishi Diamond must be very close in it's High Friction Modifier(HFM) as is Mopar ATF-2 or 3. Mopar ATF-4, now supercedes other Mopar ATF's. I hope that this isn't too confusing.
