This is open to both sponsors: what kind of testing do you undertake before deciding to list a different OEM specification or application in the product sheets of your multi-vehicle ATFs? For instance, what must happen before you decide to list Honda/Acura Type 3.1 as compatible with your product? What kind of data do you need, and how do you go about getting it?

The blenders get that type of information from the additive supplier like Lubrizol or Afton Chemical. They get all the information, including tweaks they can make, treatment rate, etc. Usually they get a blending handbook when they become a customer of one of these suppliers.
