Astronaut Bill Anders Killed In Plane Crash

I didn't see this posted anywhere. Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders was killed in a plane crash in Washington state. Anders is the astronaut who took the famous "Earthrise" photo that appeared in many magazines and publications, and even on a postage stamp, as Apollo 8 orbited the Moon back in 1968.

He was flying a Beech T-34 doing aerobatics over the water when he crashed. He was 90.

I saw this in the news. I was deeply saddened.

It’s hard to tell what happened - spatial disorientation, G-LOC, flight control problem - who knows, but the crash is hard to watch no matter the cause.

It almost was looking like he had pretty firm and steady back pressure throughout the whole pullout.... He just ran out of air. Similar to this accident. What is unbelievable is this pilot, (Andy Hill), actually survived!
