Ariens Deluxe 24 - oil for traction drive?

Hello all,

I own an Ariens Deluxe 24 snowblower and want to service it myself this year.

I know the manual calls for the L3 lube in the gearcase, yet the manual calls for the traction drive gear and chain to be lubed, but doesn't specify with what.

Maybe I'm overthinking this and should use the L3?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
