Same here Garak. Their oil selector function recommends a 5w30 C3 for my Sonata. I'd think 7500 miles would be no problem.

Should work great. I have an 07 cobalt which consumes 1/2-1qt of oil over the 9-10k mile oil change interval. 3000 miles ago I changed it to mobil 0w40, which is a euro spec oil, almost a 30 weight at 12.9cst @ 100c. It has stopped the oil consumption and it runs great. This oil also has a very high TBN of ~12, so it should make it to 10k miles with ease (this is about the point where the oil life monitor reaches 0%). I'm surprised that Chevy only calls for conventional oil in the cobalt, when the oil life monitor will run the oil out to 10k miles. I last ran Magnatec 5w30 to 9.5k miles and the TBN was at 1.8

The Pennzoil 5w30 euro L has a viscosity of 12.1cst @ 100c. Meets the BMW LL-04 spec too. Should be a great oil to run.
