Any news on Havoline's G 05 "Custom-made antifreeze"

Texaco/Havoline recently came out with a G 05 formula named "custom-made antifreeze."

Has anyone seen it in stores? Anyone have any good info on it? I just searched google and checked Havoline's website. Would be a good alternative to clear-as-water Zerex G 05 if it were dyed more yellow.

I saw it advertised in Motor Trend. I have not seen it in stores yet.

I've been buying G05 at PepBoys but, never heard of a "custom G05.

Yeah the only place I've seen it is in the advertisement in road and track.

It's not "Custom G-05", Eddie, it's a new flavor from Chevron's Texaco subsidiary named, "Texaco Custom Made Antifreeze/Coolant" and intended for late model Ford and Chrysler products which has lead to the speculation that it's a G-05 clone. I'm of the same opinion. It doesn't appear to have made it into the retail chain yet, though the ads currently appear in C&D, R&T, and MT.
