A little update... Blue decided the other fish were snacks. But my parents moved and my dad asked if I wanted "Da Cichlids" and of course I did! So my new additions are Peach and Texas. Peach is a Red Devil and certainly lived up to her name, and Texas is a Texas Cichlid. Blue, despite being about the 1/3rd the size of the other 2 holds his own surprisingly well.
Today Peach bit me on the first knuckle of my middle finger while I was trying to move the bubble wall she ripped up out of the gravel. Turns out, she can get her mouth halfway around the diameter of my finger! She has also ripped up every single one of my plants and moves them every day, and she has taken great offense to the heater and routinely tries to pull it down further in the tank.
