What does Hydronated Base Oil Mean? Is this a Group III or IV OIl?

Would be nice if they also had a 5W-40 and 5w30 to go with the 0w30 and 0W-40

You read correctly if you also saw where it says "whichever comes first." I would tend to believe the 6 months or 5000 miles will come first on just about any OEM recommended maintenance schedule other than perhaps severe duty use?

That was my point. 6 mo/5K is way too short when the OE interval is 1/10K or longer.

I'm not aware of Amsoil having an official presence in Europe. That 0w30 has properties almost identical to the Total Quartz 9000 energy 0w30 I have, which has a real MB229.5 approval. No Amsoil currently does

Not new. Not sold in USA. Amsoil has a presence in Europe

I read or the OEM recommended interval and overlooked whichever comes first.

I will say this here on this Forum, if Amsoil wants to sell a certain oil in Europe and not in this country, it is time to look at HPL Oil's, because HPL would not be doing what Amsoil is doing.

I don't bang the drum slowly for Amsoil's SS lineup. I bang it loud, fast and clear.
I tried & tested their Euro gas oils. I'm returning to their Signature Series. It's a fabulous oil.
